Nurturing Birth is committed to its doulas, their work and on-going training.

 

With this in mind we offer the following services to those who train with us:
E-news - Once you have attended the Nurturing Birth doula course you will be sent the monthly Nurturing Birth e-news. Keeping you informed of other study days, recent books, new studies, media coverage on doulas, etc.

Trainee placement - More and more parents get in touch with Nurturing Birth in the hope that we can find them a doula. Recently we have been able to find doulas for several parents. We have now set up the Doula Directory.

The Nurturing Birth online forum - A forum for anyone who has trained with Nurturing Birth to ask questions, share stories, debrief births, etc. We have the added bonus of having some very experienced doulas acting as online mentors. Every month we have a live chat on a new topic to support doulas in their work. "Just wanted to say a big thank you for getting the forum up and running. It is really helping me to learn and I feel inspired by everyone else and their experience. (...) it's great to feel connected to a network of such amazing women, all at the touch of a button.
