Nurturing Birth Doula training

Since 2005 we offer a doula course for anyone interested in working with women and their families. We offer 3-day and 2-day courses which run all around the UK. Why is the Nurturing Birth course different?

• 30% of all our trainees have chosen our course following a personal recommendation.
• We are probably the largest doula training organisation in the UK and we offer our own certification. We are the ONLY course in the UK to do so.
• Our trainees are eligible for listing on the Doula Directory.
• We offer an online forum for our trainees with over 230 participants.
• To keep your knowledge up to date we send a monthly e-newsletter and we organise regular workshops or study days.
• Our trainers are happy to support you for as long as you need, we stay in touch by phone and e-mail.
• Our course is accredited by Doula UK and you will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. (You must attend a Doula UK accredited course if you aim to become a Doula UK recognised doula)

If you have already been working as a doula and attended 2 or more births you might be interested in our advanced birth doula workshop. This is only for working doulas.

For the new or more experienced doula we have extra courses which may be of interest such as our advanced breastfeeding skills course, taught by experienced Lactation Consultants.
