Nurturing Birth Doula training

Since 2005 we offer a doula course for anyone interested in working with women and their families. We offer 3-day and 2-day courses which run all around the UK. These are aimed at ANYONE who would like to become a doula.
The contents of our doula course is detailed under Birth and Postnatal doula courses. Our trainers are all working doulas with several years of experience as doulas and trainers. We have now trained over 1000 women including several European and Canadian. We have also been invited to train women in Abu Dhabi.

Why is the Nurturing Birth course different?

• Over 30% of all our trainees have chosen our course following a personal recommendation from another working doula.

• Our course is accredited by Doula UK and you will receive a certificate upon completion of the course. (You must attend a Doula UK accredited course if you aim to become a Doula UK recognised doula)

If you have already been working as a doula and attended 2 or more births you might be interested in our Experienced Birth Doula Workshop - level 2. This is only for working doulas.

For the new or more experienced doula we have extra courses which may be of interest such as our Breastfeeding Workshop - level 2, taught by experienced Lactation Consultants.
